DANIEL F. DEBARTOLO, MD
Dr. DeBartolo received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1982 and completed his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans in 1986. During his final year of residency, Dr. DeBartolo was chosen from among his graduating class to serve as Chief Resident of the Tulane Ophthalmology program. In 1985, and again in 1986, Dr. DeBartolo was awarded the Outstanding Research Presentation Award at the Tulane University Ophthalmology program. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the senior medical staff at Edward Hospital where he has served on the credentials committee for five years. He is also on the staff of the Naperville Surgical Center.
Dr. DeBartolo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, the American Medical Association, the Illinois State Medical Society and the DuPage County Medical Society. He has been a member of the Illinois Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology for several years and served as the President of this Society in 1999.

Dr. DeBartolo has extensive additional training in the area of refractive surgery. His current special interests include refractive surgery as well as cataract surgery.

He is married with four children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and watching sports.
